what to do when it's 1000 degrees outside....and humid

the recipe i used made enough for 6 pizzas (!) so we had pizza for dinner, then lunch, then dinner. guess what's for dinner tonight? so far my favorite has been the one without sauce because it cooks crispier. i love a thin crispy crust! oh and i am a veggie but my mister is not so there are 4 giant pepperoni slices on half. sigh.

  1. Julie- the way to keep your crust crisp-ier if using sauce is to pre-bake it. Then the sauce won't absorb into your crust. Add your ingredients to a half- baked already somewhat crisp foundation...and go easy on the sauce. when we make ours and the sauce is too runny- it just gets too soup so we have a joke- calling it Soup Pizza.
