topanga orange
today's painting:
last summer when we were in california, we went to an outdoor talk at the topanga film festival. the weather was beautiful and there was a box full of oranges offered at the entrance. they were so lovely with their stems and leaves still attached. i loved being there. i am definitely looking forward to another trip west....

buddhas
the house we stayed at in topanga had been worked on by a group of tibetans and so it was fitting that there were buddhas dwelling in and about as well as prayer flags flapping in the wind. it is a beautiful and peaceful place.
