today's painting:
last night i arrived home late from being in montana all week. i had kind of a crazy trip home going from bozeman to san francisco to denver and finally little rock! i got to see the pacific ocean which was awesome! being close to the ocean is my favorite place to be. also i got some pretty great views of all the snow that fell in colorado. i'll put some up here for you to see, maybe they aren't great photos but they are kind of interesting perspective.
btw, being there was such an amazing experience and i look forward to seeing everyone again! we cooked-A LOT. it was so fun and i have some amazing new recipes from a wonderful new cookbook Dharma Feast Cookbook (thank you!) and if you find yourself interested in obtaining a copy, you can do so here.
i imagine there just might be some more on this later as i see some serious kitchen time in my future:)
Greetings!

what to do when it's 1000 degrees outside....and humid
the recipe i used made enough for 6 pizzas (!) so we had pizza for dinner, then lunch, then dinner. guess what's for dinner tonight? so far my favorite has been the one without sauce because it cooks crispier. i love a thin crispy crust! oh and i am a veggie but my mister is not so there are 4 giant pepperoni slices on half. sigh.
