Been gettin up to things in Seattle and gettin inspired with some of my favorite people this last week. Had a couple cups of coffee along the way, too.

UAMS Library Gallery Show

The UAMS show is now on exhibit through the end of September.

Some snapshots of the work in the space:

The 5 butterfly paintings are 36 inches x 36 inches.

The 6 mandalas are approx. 24 inches each, mixed media.

Not the best snaps, but I will have proper pics for my website after I get them to the photographer.

Some new pieces for an upcoming show at the UAMS Library. The show opens August 1 and goes through the end of September.

Here is a peek of a work in progress. This is the fifth in the series.

I started this series last year and sold the 1st piece in January. 

an old friend returns

I was doing some treasure hunting this weekend and came upon one of MY OWN pieces! It was a little surprising I'll admit. AND underpriced! So I bought it, HA! If I recall correctly, I only made 2 of these little dome covered plate sets. Also, This is an OLD motif of mine; I haven't used it in at least 10 years.

My friend Jeri who is a wonderful person and talented artist and healer was visiting from Seattle for 5 days and we got to spend a good deal of time together. She snapped this pic of me in my studio modeling one of her new talisman necklaces and a style of the day for her blog. You can see more of her work here.

even more tiny drawings!

Sleeving these tiny watercolors and printing labels for the show's opening this coming Saturday evening. The faeries are working overtime right now and are due for a small holiday when this is done. ;)

I took some new work up to River City Coffee. There will be a reception on Saturday evening and the show will hang for at least a month. If you are local, stop in for a look and a coffee or tea some time. I quite like how it looks from the sidewalk. Hoping to add several more pieces before the weekend.
